New Zealand Solar For Schools Community
The New Zealand branch of the Solar For Schools international community is in the process of being established. Once operating it will act for the benefit of its school membership as an independent, vendor-neutral organisation. This means it works for schools to share lessons, which are learned as they adopt education for sustainability into their curriculums. It also ensures their funded solar energy projects are competitively priced, with minimum fuss, and results in an optimum performance outcome.
Modelled on the United Kingdom Solar For Schools Community Benefit Society, it will be established as a charitable trust governed by schools and respected leaders. Supported by Engynious NZ who will provide a senior expert with extensive experience in running a large technology transformation centre of excellence.
